Alrighty going back to the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I went back and triple checked all the vacuum lines and fittings with the carb cleaner and was not able to find a single leak. Also I should mention that the lines looked fairly new which leads me to think they have been changed in the not so distant past.

I have already tried !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and that did not help.

What steps should I take next? Go grab another Idle Air Control Valve at the scrapyard and give that a try?
I was confident I was gonna find a vacuum leak because it seems when the car is cold I have next to no brakes because the brake booster is not working. Once the car is up to temp it purrs like a kitten and everything works like it should.

I remember a call like this a long time ago to Car Talk - Toyota pickup with the same issue. Ray said there was a rubber(ish) flange in the carb that was often plagued by pinhole leaks. The guy replaced the part and it worked, as confirmed on Stump the Chumps. Other than that I got nuthin'.

I don't mean to be so lazy, but I say if you can't solve it then just live with it. My '89 Toyota pickup does the same thing.
